Many children don’t have the luck to grow up in an environment which offers them the range of opportunities from which we are all privileged to benefit. My motivation for participating in the climb is to help these children by highlighting what we can do and encouraging as many people as possible to offer their support in the form of a donation to SATW.
In Germany, C&W has adopted the Karmeliterschule, Frankfurt. Located in the socially disadvantaged main railway station district, this Primary and Secondary School accommodates 200 pupils of 46 different nationalities. The necessary cash to provide the pupils with essential educational material and technical equipment is lacking. Any funds raised within the SATW Kilimanjaro 2010 project will help to alter this situation. In addition, C&W employees also support the school with non-financial actions including giving remedial lessons, organising excursions and much more.
