As we emerge from a financial crisis that has effected the entire world, we remain more committed than ever to taking Schools Around The World forward across our EMEA region.
What is really exciting about this climb is that we have a truly pan-European C&W team and whilst we range from experienced climbers, trekkers to complete novices, we all share a common aim which is to achieve this challenge and by doing so, champion SATW and make a real difference to the lives of disadvantaged young people in all of our countries of activity.
This time the Italian office of C&W wants to do something for Abruzzo!
The team from Cushman & Wakefield in Milan will include myself, James Meikle and Lamberto Agostini.
All the funds that the three of us raise will go directly into rebuilding a sports facility for the local children of the town of Villa Sant’Angelo in Abruzzo. This small town was almost completely destroyed in the earthquake and we want to contribute to the ongoing re-construction of this historic community by providing the children of this area with a new sports field.
We are personally paying all our own costs for our climb up Mount Kilimanjaro and therefore all the money raised by us will go directly to help children in Abruzzo rebuild their lives.
Furthermore, Cushman & Wakefield will use all their real estate expertise and resources in the project thereby ensuring all funds go directly towards construction costs as opposed to covering the general administrative costs that often occur within larger charities. Many thanks for any contribution you can give.
